BioWare will be shipping Mass Effect: Andromeda in just a few short months, and there's still a ton about the game we don't know. However, BioWare had an interview with Kotaku where they discussed PC's unlocked framerate & some brand new multiplayer details. Here's a summary of the juicy points, but check out the full article for more information: Players will no longer be required to player multiplayer to further the story in Mass Effect: Andromeda Andromeda will feature with a "Strike Team" system that's a fundamental part of the multiplayer The Strike Team system allows you to go between single & multiplayer without having to back out of each mode & go to the main menu, however, it's not seamless (there's a loading screen) There's a meta-story of what's going on in Helios that helps tie single & multiplayer together Multiplayer will feed into the deeper meta-story. The meta-story can be finished without playing multiplayer at all, however. Mass Effect: Andromeda will ship with an unlocked framerate on PC & support for ultrawide screen monitors Day 1 drivers for for Andromeda are being targeted, but BioWare didn't specify if they were referring to AMD or NVIDIA No official support for mods in Andromeda, but BioWare said that could change based on the reaction of the community regarding mods Andromeda will NOT have dedicated servers for multiplayer With having the ability to explore planets on foot or vehicle, BioWare stated that there will be a variety of adventures, not necessarily quest-related, for people to uncover. More details are expected to drop next month on Mass Effect: Andromeda, but keep an eye out for new details as they release leading up to launch!
